Standard Machine was founded in April 1976 by Floyd Cable. We are family owned and operated in McAlester, Ok, with over 38 years of helping people with their needs.

Operating in a well equipped facility over 16,000 square feet, Standard Machine is conveniently located between Oklahoma City, Tulsa, Dallas, and Ft. Smith in South East Oklahoma. Standard Machine's yard consists of six plus acres of specialized equipment and a complete line of structural steel. Standard Machine is one of the most diverse Industrial Support Facilities in South East Oklahoma.

Standard Machine's machining ability and ingenuity in thought process allows nearly any machining application to be attained & resolved. Drive shaft repair, pipe threading, specialized machining and tool fabrications are no problem for our highly equipped machine department. With the addition of our new CNC department, Standard Machine is opening the door to help with your fabrication & part building needs for high production quantities & complex machining needs.

We are a full line machine shop, with large bore capacity of 13" and an over all swing of 50'" diameter and 144" long between centers. Standard Machine can help with most any machining you may need, repairing of loose bearing journals, remove broken bolts, worn parts repair, and fabricating of new parts. If you have a sample or a blueprint, Standard Machine can produce it: almost any type of material, any shape or size!

Standard Machine stocks a complete line of structural steel including square tubing, pipe, c-channel, angle iron, flat bar and plate all at competitive pricing. At Standard Machine, we deal in steel! If you are looking for a source to bend or shear plate, let us help you with our 10 foot length and 3/16 inch thick shearing capabilities for a nice smooth edge. If you need pieces bent, Standard Machine can bend 1/4" plate, 4' wide and 3/16" plate up to 10' in length. Plazma and Oxy Fuel Computerized plate cutting table. We can cut any shape. Production parts or custom artwork up to 4 inches thick and 5 foot by 10 foot.

Standard Machine is also a trusted name in hydraulic cylinder repair. We stock cylinder components including seals, check valves, bearings, snap rings, glands & pistons, along with a variety of chrome rod to replace worn or damaged rams for you with little down time. If your cylinders have any type of problem, Standard Machine can repair them.

Standard Machine has over 38 years of experience welding of ALL types of materials & processes. We offer fabrication services or we will be glad to repair your parts. We are fluent in Stick, Tig, High Frequency Heliarc, Mig, brazing, soldering, & plastic welding. The Part Doctors at Standard Machine not only have the raw materials to construct or repair your troublesome parts, we also stock a diverse line of industrial supplies including: roller chain, pillow block & flange bearings, chains, boomers, grade 8 bolts up to 1" diameter & 12" long, eyebolts, winch cable, clamps, Morse-Starret cable cutters, Crosby Rigging Products, Lovejoy & other shaft couplings, trailer parts, u-bolts, hitches, hydraulic fluid, jacks, ratchet straps, weld on fastening systems, snap rings, Dowell pins, hubs, electric brake parts, pipe caps, fence clips, and numerous other items.

Tube bending: fabrication projects or complex routing situations, we can bend tube up to 3" in diameter.

Steel hydraulic or aluminum fluid lines? We have a full line of fluid line tube in stock, up to 70,000 psi. We can fabricate these lines from straight to complex bends; we can repair your existing tubes for a fraction of the cost to replace it through the O.E.M.. In addition, we stock the largest inventory of hydraulic hose and fittings in South East Oklahoma. Standard Machine is a Gates Distributor (Gates is the most trusted name in hoses). From the smallest up to 2" high pressure to 6" transfer hose. Standard Machine has the fittings and quantity of hose on hand, to get you back up and running. Standard Machine stocks large quantities of hydraulic, tank truck, thermoplastic, non conductive, stainless braided Teflon, industrial and general purpose hoses. As well as Brake Quip brake lines. We stock hard to find metric hose ends along with protective wrap, adapters, clamps, valves, and gauges.
